Email usThis notice explains how 4S Power Ltd ("4S Power", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or engage with us as a client, investor, partner, or public-sector counterparty.
4S Power Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company registration number: pending), with its registered office in the United Kingdom. We develop, finance, build, and operate solar-plus-storage energy infrastructure across multiple regions.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), 4S Power is the data controller of the personal data described in this notice.
We collect personal data you provide directly — such as your name, job title, organisation, email address, telephone number, postal address, and the content of any enquiry — and personal data collected automatically through your use of this website, such as IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referral source, and approximate location, including through the cookies described in section 6.
We do not knowingly collect any special category data (as defined in Article 9 of the UK/EU GDPR) through this website, and we ask that you do not include such data in any enquiry you send us.
We rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the UK/EU GDPR:
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered that the processing is proportionate, has a minimal privacy impact, and is something you would reasonably expect.
We may share personal data with: professional advisers (legal, financial, tax); banks, lenders, development finance institutions, and co-investors involved in evaluating or executing a transaction; IT, hosting, and analytics providers acting as processors on our instructions; regulators, tax authorities, and law enforcement where required by law; and any successor entity in the event of a corporate reorganisation, financing, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections. We do not sell personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
As we operate across multiple jurisdictions, personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, including countries not assessed as providing an adequate level of data protection. Where this occurs, we put in place appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or we rely on an applicable adequacy regulation. Further information is available on request — see section 11.
This website uses a limited number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies enable core functionality (such as remembering your language preference) and do not require consent. Analytics cookies help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, and are set only where permitted by applicable law and, where required, with your consent. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; disabling non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use the core functionality of this website.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Correspondence and enquiry data is typically retained for up to six years to reflect applicable limitation periods; data relating to executed transactions is retained in accordance with applicable financial services, anti-money laundering, and tax record-keeping obligations, which may require longer retention.
UK and EEA individuals have the right, subject to certain exceptions, to: request access to their personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure; request restriction of processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section 11. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or, if you are in the EEA, with your local supervisory authority.
California and other US residents — the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives California residents the right to know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and sold or shared; to request deletion or correction of personal information; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. Residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws may exercise equivalent rights using the contact details in section 11.
This website and our services are directed at businesses, investors, and public-sector organisations, and are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We maintain technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration, proportionate to the nature of the data and the risks involved.
For any question about this notice or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@4spower.com. UK and EEA individuals may also contact the ICO (ico.org.uk) or their local supervisory authority. This notice does not limit any statutory rights you may have.
